THIP raised COVID-19 control measures through group insurance ‘COVID-19 vaccination’ for employeesMay 11, 2021
Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited (THIP) raised COVID-19 control measures for over 2,000 executives and employees by providing COVID-19 insurance including the protestation of covid-19 infections and side effects from vaccination. Previously, we followed government measures by issuing a policy for employees to work from home and strictly complying with Factory Isolation measures to reduce the risk of infection and spread of COVID-19.
Mrs Pojanard Prinyapatpakorn, Chief Executive Officer of Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited (THIP), said “According to the new wave of COVID-19 epidemic, there are some employees who have to work at an office or employee’s family members have to work outside their home. There is a risk of bringing COVID-19 infection to the family. Thus, we raised the higher protection measures by providing insurance to protect the infection of the COVID-19 for over 2,000 executives and employees in terms of medical expenses, side effects of vaccine and diagnosis of Infectious cost for employee’s family members to boost up the confidence and work more comfortably.”
Meanwhile, the company complied with government COVID-19 control measures by issuing work-at-home policies for office workers and the safety policy for employees in the factory to run customer service in impeccable time.
For factory workers, the company complied with public health measures to prevent risks and protect the welfare of employees, families and communities. We, therefore, provided especially health care and security for factory workers since they are the key person driving our organization who are still on duty at the factory”, said Mrs Pojanard. The company emphasized operations in the factory regarding employee safety as the priority. Factory Isolation measures is strictly implemented including checking temperature before entering and leaving the factory and the office every time, wearing a mask at all times, comprehensive alcohol service points, and keeping a social distance between each other, scanning the QR Code to check-in and out of the building. In addition, we disinfected all operating areas and proactively tested COVID-19 infection periodically to employees.
