Thantawan Industry Public Co., Ltd. won the award “The substitute packaging materials for eco-friendly seedling composts”September 13, 2021

Recently, Thantawan Industry Public Co., Ltd. (THIP), a manufacturer and distributor of international quality packaging, won the first runner-up award for the general public on Nursery bags biodegradable with the substitute packaging materials for eco-friendly seedling composts which was organized by the Royal Forest Department, Ms. Nawnee Premchan, a senior engineer representing our company, received a plaque with prize money of 20,000 Baht. It was honored by Mr. Somwang Wangsetakul, Director of Nakhon Pathom Forest Center of the Royal Forest Department, at the Forest Center, Nakhon Pathom Province.

Nursery bags are biodegradable. We, therefore, strived for research and development on innovative products which are environment friendly in order to be in line with our sustainability guidelines. These bags can be decomposed naturally and be used for seedling before planting. This attribute reduces the process of cultivation without removing the seedlings from the nursery bag. As a result, the bags also increase agricultural productivity and reduce the rate of crop loss which totally reinforces environmental sustainability.
